MODERN REDUX

Every project has potential to connect the systems around it, even in modest ways. This simple remodel in the Outer Mission neighborhood of San Francisco was built for a former tech executive who decided to sell her shares and pursue social work. The objective was to build up to chase the view, while maximizing light and connection to the outdoors. The new primary suite leads out to a new roof deck with sweeping views of the city, while a large glass door connects the lower level kitchen to the backyard. Here, a new built in bench and fire pit provides a space for entertaining, lounging, or enjoying the sun.
